Meet Lassie

No, not THAT Lassie, but definitely named in her honor. As a pup Lassie grew highly fond of her owner and it wasn't long before the bond was tested. Her owner had suffered a mild stroke and was unconscious on the floor. Lassie instinctively knew something was wrong and ran out of the house to find their neighbor, convinced him of a nearby trouble, and lead him to their home. The neighbor was able to phone for help, and Lassie's owner was saved. Lassie has been a life-saver from her early days, and there's hardly an accolade that she hasn't received.
