Visit beautiful Ross Castle

Thought to have been constructed in the late-fifteenth century, this castle was initially home to the O’Donoghue clan and has a history of changing ownership throughout the history of the Irish Rebellion. It is open for tours but is expected to see heavy traffic during peak seasons. The average length of a tour is about an hour with the last group of people allowed in is at 45 minutes before close.
