Melanie Burgess is a client that I met through another client that I have done work for and she has become a really great client to work for. Melanie has her own consulting business in Colorado and she was looking to update and re-brand her business and reached out to me to see if I'd be interested. I was excited to take on this project as it was more of a corporate business but looking for a modern touch and I was definitely up for the challenge.

The logo is the final product after a few renderings. Initially the design was completely different but it was something that I was just not happy with and so I wanted to give Melanie another look to see what she thought. The look is what you see here and she loved it. This logo (and business cards as well) came out beautiful, from the elegant use of typography to even the end result which was a letterpress print on a beautiful ivory thick card stock. It took some convincing as Melanie wasn't too familiar at first but she valued my opinion and it definitely paid off.

I even received a surprise in the mail a few weeks later and it was a nice thank you card as well as a few business cards so that I could see the finished product. Oh yeah, did I mention that we did this entire project about 2,000 miles apart via telephone and video chat?
